What is coaching?

Coaching is a partnership with clients.  Through a thought- provoking, creative, and ever evolving process, coaches enable and inspire their clients to maximize and reach their highest personal potentials. As a coach I provide my clients with a safe environment to explore and express who they are in the moment, I am an objective sounding board for my clients; my deepest desire is to help my clients understand and achieve their goals.

What does it mean to be a client?

Being a client, means that you are ready, and motivated, to make conscious and lasting positive changes in your life. As a client, you will address and change old patterns and beliefs that may be inhibiting you from achieving your goals. Through the partnership of coach and client, your true and authentic self will surface. The coaching experience will offer you the opportunity to live an empowered and fulfilled life.  

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No, coaching is not the same as therapy. As your coach, I believe that you are a whole, capable, and resourceful individual who does not need to be fixed.  I believe that you hold the answers that you seek. As your coach, I will not offer you advice as to what choices you should make. Rather I will ask you powerful questions, which will enable you to see different perspectives, thus allowing you to make your own informed decisions. Coaching does not attempt to explain behaviors, delve into your past, or identify pathology.
